Today, I got a new phone. Only after berating the Sprint employee and Apple support desk because I could not call, text, or access the Internet did I find out that I didn't need to buy a new phone. It was just on airplane mode. FML

I'm not surprised. You seem a bit flighty.

Did you try turning it off and on again?

You're the kind of customer I dread getting at work.

YDI for yelling at people. FYL for no one realizing the problem along the way. Seems like something they would check.

They probably would have checked if the OP hadn't been busy screaming at them.

I heard microwaving your phone for 30 seconds resets network settings, next time you should try that.

Is it really necessary to give other people hell just because you are not getting what you want? Was it really that important for you to get all bent out of shape over? I have had phones actually malfunction and I calmly asked for a replacement and got one instantly. I didn't have to act like an ass to get what I wanted.

even if your phone was broken there's no need to yell at anyone. I deal with people like you everyday who think yelling at others is perfectly acceptable. you're exactly why people dread taking customer service jobs. ydi

The fancy notification bar at the top of your phone can indicate many things.. Including Airplane Mode.

Okay, now to turn off airplane mode, throw your phone at the sprint guy. Upon landing, you should be able to talk, text, and browse on your new crack screen phone.

Even when you turn airplane mode off, you might not be able to do anything because sprint sucks
