It depends on the restaurant. If it is a fun/college type bar/restaurant the manager probably knows hiring hot girls keeps people in the restaurant and buying drinks longer, and helps keep customers coming back. A place like hooters or bikini coffee aren't going to hire you just for your resume, you need to think about where you're applying and dress accordingly.

Same thing had almost happened to me. I was in my beautiful dress and then some slutty looking women walked in and before he could hire her, I grabbed his hand and said that if he hires her that I'd tell the police that he's trying to have sexual relationships with a co-worker. He was torn in two when trying to choose which possible employee to pick. He eventually chose her, I reported him, three months later, he's fired for sexually harassing another employee
