Today, at the dentist, I was getting my teeth cleaned. Looking up at his nose, I saw runny snot dripping onto his lip. I tried to slowly move away. He told me "Stop!" The movement of his lips caused the snot to fall right into my mouth. FML

#49-- depending on where you are. at my sister's orthodontist's, the dr never wears masks, just the nurses. and they don't wear masks when doing consults or when sterilizing things, either. it depends on where you live and what kind of treatment it is... but this dude NEEDS to wear a mask. pronto.

I agree with #52. Dentists SHOULD wear masks, but not all of them are required to. Those who actually operate IN your mouth actually wear the masks. Mainly the dentists'/orthodontists' assistants who do most of the labor. Actual doctors don't usually wear masks when they are just checking the progress of their patient. But, I agree, totally nasty and they should be required to wear a mask at all times.
